Sadly, many so-called Christians in America believe that politics will deliver America from disaster if only their political activism succeeds. They do not know, nor will they examine the historical and Biblical evidence which clearly disprove the teachings of their leaders such as David Barton, Glen Beck et al.
I would point the reader to the article “Glen Beck, Ted Cruz and Christianity By Brandon Duncan” (which is also reproduced above), in which the author, Brandon Duncan, clearly shows some of the problems with Beck. Sadly, the article then reveals that Duncan believes the teachings of David Barton, an heretic and a liar. I, as a born again follower of Christ, admired, followed and looked up to Barton since i felt that another alleged believer who was followed and relied on by millions must be solid in his historical teachings and Bible beliefs. A few years ago, I learned through intense Bible, legal, and historical studies that Barton presents a revised manipulated history to support his anti-biblical theology. I learned his Bible reasons for lying and his goals. He, as do his politically active “Christian” followers, believe that hope is in a government/church combination which will ultimately bring peace on earth.

The Bible teaches a lot about civil government (and the other governments ordained by God). This page gives links to articles which will explains that teaching. One can be sure that the Bible teaches that once a nation has sunk to a certain moral level, the only remedy available to God is judgment. America is now a moral cesspool and is daily sinking deeper in the mire.
When a contemporary American believer studies the Bible doctrine of government as well as the present state of the union (America), he can come to no other conclusion that judgment is God’s only remedy for the religious apostasy, moral awfulness, and political tyranny that is America. Sadly, many believers and churches waste so much of God’s money and time with unbiblical methodologies, not according to knowledge, understanding, and wisdom seeking to bring “America back under God” when even their churches are not under God. They do not have the spiritual sense to know that they should first be concerned with bringing their churches (including the families and individuals therein as well as the churches) back under God – what insanity. I highly recommend the following article by Dr. Greg Dixon:
Glen Beck, Ted Cruz and Christianity By Brandon Duncan (March 31, 2016)
Glen Beck –
Outside of belonging to a religious cult — What is wrong with this guys’ brain? Too much hard alcohol in his past?
I have heard Beck call himself a Christian. Really? There are a few differences between Mormonism and Christianity to say the least:
1.) Is Beck the kind of Mormon who believes that God used to be a man like you or myself who lived on another planet?
2.) Is Beck the kind of Mormon who believes in wearing magic underwear, or as they say in the Mormon cult, “Temple Garments”?
3.) Is Beck the kind of Mormon who believes that if you are a good Mormon, then you have a good chance of becoming a god yourself?
4.) Beck said in a very serious forum in front of many people and Sen. Cruz himself that Sen. Cruz is the only person who could lead the U.S. through the Great Tribulation; well The Bible [The Book of which our country was founded upon] says something quite to the contrary.
If any other GOP candidate [including all of the original 17 candidates] had a guy like Beck not only endorsing them, but also out on the trail campaigning for them, how long would it take the people of the U.S. and the “wonderful news media” to immediately demand that the GOP candidate immediately disavow and sever all ties with this kind of person (Beck)?
Watch this video which is a very short clip from a speech that Beck delivered yesterday in Utah, as it says something about a man’s self-indulging superior character, and if he (Beck) is right I must not be listening to my God.
Therefore when it comes to his phrase of, “Not listening to my God”, Beck would be absolutely correct, because when it comes to Beck and his belief system he is speaking of a God that I have never known.
Growing up in a Christian school, I had to be a student of our Country’s historical teachings by David Barton regarding our Founding Father’s and how they founded this country on The Bible [I cannot recall David Barton ever mentioning The Book of Mormon]; this was a gathering (Constitutional Convention) that took place long before Joseph Smith was even born. So I wonder if David Barton, who is a friend of Beck’s, will speak up to set history straight on Christianity vs. Mormonism in this country on Beck’s program?
Beck changed his view on homosexuality last year after only one dinner with some LGTB leaders in San Francisco, but yet he hammers Trump on being pro-choice years ago in his past among other things. After only one dinner, Beck now believes that a person is created gay or straight. The God that I know stated his stance on this issue very clearly when something very bad happened to Sodom and Gomorrah.
Since Sen. Cruz is allowing Beck to be out there on the road campaigning for him unapologetically thus far — What does that say about the Senator? Think about it…
